Christmas is Simply Magical - Adding that Extra Magic Sparkle to Events and Partys is my Favourite Way to Spend the Festive Season
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with the brilliant Bristol Pavilion again and Filton Primary School's party was great fun right from the off. Half way through their meal they played a number of hilarious games which at one point had members of their staff lifting up my trouser leg as they need to source a stripy sock (this things I do for my art haha).
I also had the pleasure of performing at the Wills Memorial Building for the first time. The opportunity appeared (as if by magic) when one of Bristol Universities halls of residents asked me to do magic at their Christmas Ball. I have to admit to very nearly being late due to some crazy Bristol Traffic 1 hour 50 to get from Stoke Gifford to the Triangle #lovebristolreally
2017 is my Second full year as a Self Employed Magician in Bristol and Building on the Success of Christmas Partys 2016 I'm please to report Christmas 2017 was bigger, better and of course full of Magic :)
One thing was very apparent whilst performing through my festive season and that was the degree to which I really connected with the guests. There's a fine line between remaining professional and really joining in with the party.
The Guests feel relaxed and put at ease seeing that you're having as much fun as they are; I think through making these connections a group of people at a party will almost certainly enjoy the magic more.
Lastly I'd like to give a shout out to Portland Brown for introducing me to one of Stokes Croft's newest and funkiest venues. Jamaica Streets Stores has definitely got something about it and somewhere that peaked this magicians interest; I'll be paying them a visit soon to sample some tasty looking grub. The staff at Portland Brown certainly know how to party and I even had a little boogie after a well earned post magic cider.
So I hope Everyone out there had a magical Christmas and I know it's Only January But Thoughts are already Turning to Xmas 2018 - Bring it On!!!!!!!!
